The name "SEEKING PLAY" is a homage to Dr. Jaak Panksepp, a pioneering neuroscientist who inspired us profoundly. Jaak identified seven systems within the mammalian brain (humans included!), two of which are SEEKING and PLAY, hence the name! His work on the emotional underpinnings of play sparked our curiosity to continue learning about the interesting and oftentimes misunderstood topic of Play
